Positivity Hand- Events

There are times when we all feel overwhelmed. All we can see are obstacles in front of us. All we can focus on are things that are distracting us from our daily life. And we feel that we are surrounded by so much negativity.


At times like this we must stop and try to refocus. We must remind ourselves of the positive in our lives, because there is positive even if we are having a hard time remembering it. Here is an activity to try to refocus.


Activity: Trace your hand. Write down one happy memory for every finger. (High five- that’s a great start. Hahaha). Now, remember to add to this page whenever you think of a memory from your past that brings you joy.


Guidance extension- These words could be printed out and placed inside of a mason jar to create an affirmation jar.
